This 1960’s era instructional film from the U.S. Department of the Navy is still very relevant today and gives an excellent introduction to the world of calibration in 12 minutes. The animated cartoon explains in no uncertain terms the importance of calibration and what can happen when instruments and equipment are allowed to degrade or drift. Even tiny deviations or variations can have big consequences!
Be sure to calibrate your equipment and testing and monitoring instruments at the frequency and schedule they require and using the proper standards.
