Here is a heartfelt message from David Sanchez on the last day of his internship at Thermo-Temp and just prior to his high school graduation. Our team is pleased to educate and employ high school students as part of their learning career development and calibration training. We appreciate his good work.

I want to take a moment in this email to thank you all for this opportunity. I’m extremely grateful not only was this a great learning experience, but it also became a strong foundation for my future. The people I’ve met and the guidance I’ve received at Thermo-Temp have been like mentors to me, helping me figure out what I want to be and how to get there.
Throughout this journey, I’ve discovered my love for efficient processes and learned the importance of good communication and building close relationships with the people around you. I’m especially thankful for the path you all helped me get on. Ms. Spoony knows this best before this, I wasn’t the best student. I used to talk a lot without really adding much to the conversation. But by junior year, things changed when I found my passion for engineering through being in her class.
In senior year, when Ms. Spoony shared this opportunity with us, I asked more about it and that ended up being the best decision I made during high school. Through this experience, I’ve learned lessons that go beyond the classroom and the workplace. Most importantly, I found my passion for becoming a mechanical engineer something I never knew I wanted, and now can’t imagine not pursuing.
